WANT TO SET UP A PROJECT WITH US?

The Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1 (UCBL) welcomes researchers to host their ERC Frontier Research Grant.

The ERC is particularly keen to encourage excellent proposals from Principal Investigators based outside Europe who wish to carry out a project with a host institution in the EU or in one of the Associated Countries.

ERC grants are open to researchers of any nationality who may reside in any country in the world at the time of the application, and willing to spend at least 50% of their working time in an EU Member State or Associated Country during the course of the ERC project. Eligible “start-up” costs for Principal Investigators moving from a third country may be requested, and ERC grantee  remuneration can be drawn from the grant.

Why host an ERC project at the Claude Bernard Lyon 1 University?

You will benefit from a high-quality scientific environment, a dynamic academic community and a dynamic economic sector, in one of the most beautiful European cities.
