Research topics

LIP Computer Science Lab gathers close to 50 permanent faculties and researchers, with about 75 PhD students, and visiting scientists or working on temporary positions. LIP is the computer science laboratory of the ENS Lyon. It is associated with the CNRS, the ENS Lyon, INRIA and the UCB Lyon (UMR 5668), and is part of MILyon (Laboratoire d'Excellence "Mathématiques et Informatique à Lyon"). Research is developed on various key topics of computer science with the help of an administrative and technical staff of 11 people. LIP members are highly involved in teaching within the University of Lyon. The LIP is divided into 8 project-teams;
